We're hitched!

So, as promised, here are some shots of our place, our neighborhood, and Pittsburgh in general. Click on each picture to enlarge it in a pop-up window.

Neighborhood street signs

Our neighborhood streets are named after generals and battle sites of the Mexican-American war.

Home sweet home The back of our place

The front and back of our place. We live on the first floor of the building.

Neighborhood street scenes. The Mexican War Streets is a beautiful neighborhood with some well-maintained 19th century architecture.

West Park and Lake Elizabeth Pittsburgh at night

With all of its hills and trees, Pittsburgh is, for the most part, a picturesque city. The park shown above is only a block away from our place. The night scene was taken from atop the Mount Washington incline, which is a trolley that runs up an impossibly steep hill.

We'll have to ask our friends in Cozumel if they know anything about Pittsbugh's "mexican war streets". Looks like it has a proud history. I liked the car in front of the apartment and the night shoot is a classic photograph. When do the Packers and Steelers meet?
